Diptirani
studied Odissi at the Sangeet Natak Mahavidyalaya at
Bhubaneswar under the guidance of Guru Pankaj Charan
Das, Deba Prasad Das and Minati Misra. She also
studied under Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and Guru
Gangadhar Pradhan. She has given solo performances
and has also appeared with others in duets.
